    There where some little tide pools here that are only accessible with a little climbing. Little hermit crabs and other living things were moving around. It was a decent stop off place to just relax

    Great place for light hiking. A good place to whale & bird watch. A pod of orcas swam by when we were at the light house. The light house was closed, but it was a holiday.

    We went there one afternoon in late spring, totally unsure about our chances of seeing the gorgeous orca; after a quick hike to the lighthouse, out of the blue came a school of them, heading north along the shore; they were so elegant yet powerful in the water. One of them showcased an impressive leap-a perfect photo opp for those who're always prepared!
